Blogger is not graphics tablet friendly :(

LB is making dinner tonight. He's actually in the kitchen right now and I can hear the chopping from here. Sometimes when he does a job around the house, like the cooking or some variant of the cleaning, it takes all my will power not to get up and take over. Not because I am better at it, but because I feel bad. I feel that I should be doing or should have done whatever it is that he has taken it upon himself to do.
I haven't always been this way, being able to let the many and varied men of my past lives go about doing housework with the best of them. Nay, EXPECTING it, even. But my current mindset has come about from having not been able to work when I first came over from Australia. Because I wasn't contributing to the household financially I did my bit by keeping house. And it was right and fair. Now that I am working it makes sense that we share the household tasks a bit more, even though he makes far More Money than me. I don't think that should factor too much into it. I mean, I still do more about the house than him, and he has advised me that vacuuming the cat hair off the bed will ALWAYS be my job, because if he had his way Princesses Mully, Monkey and McGowie would not sleep on the bed. Fair enough, I say. But damn it's nice that they do.

Since having made room in my brain to allow for him to cook dinner, I have discovered that he is very good at it. This pleases me.

Other things that please me, in no particular order:

- my brandnewoutofthebox graphics tablet. How I have managed to live without it these thirty two years gone, I know not.

Um, that's actually it.

I am hard to please.

Graphics tablet win for you.
Graphire 3 ? Hopefully not a Bamboo.
Or really luckily it could be a Cintiq....... do share.

And cats must sleep on the bed, how else do they try to capture the elusive bedmice. The sweetest food there ever was.
Bedmice live at the end of the bed, under the blankets.
When the humans get into bed, this scares the bedmice into appearing. Flushing them out if you will. And this is the moment the cat waits for.....

"Hopefully not a Bamboo"...

Can I just say that it is really ace?

The only point I see with the Bamboo is pressure sensitivity. Graphires are very smooth. In future I'll be all kinds of quiet, I'm excited you have one. I love mine for photo work.
